Description
Restored 2002 tii with original Kugelfischer fuel pump. Cold-start is flawless, hot-start is flawless, runs flawlessly. Engine idle is perfect right off the bat. This is NOT a concours car. Some body repairs were made that take it out of that class, though the car is solid and does not have any current or down-the-road rust issues. Paint is an "8" to the normal eye, but new stickers throughout the car are a dead giveaway to a trained judge.You can run this car as-is without any mechanical issues and have the time of your life if you are a fan of naturally-aspirated, mechanical fuel systems. It starts and runs better than many 100% tii examples, but it DOES NOT have the pedigree. It has been maintained by Midwest Performance Cars in Chicago; service records come with the vehicle. The only thing this car needs is a $60 piece of trim for the driver's door. All brakes, suspension, steering, transmission and engine are 100%.
Otherwise, the only thing this car should need for the foreseeable future is normal maintenance. Tires are essentially new, low-miles. Pictures could not be attached because ebay has a 24 picture limit. More high-quality photos available upon request.
