Listing my 1980 BMW 323i Alpina for sale today. I bought the car about a year and a half ago and recently finished restoring it. The car was sitting at a shop in Arizona for a couple years before I purchased it. It underwent restoration. I repainted the car its original dark olive green color. I completely redid the alpina seats, front & back. New door cards front & back also. Re-did the headliner. I got rid of the 323 motor and swapped it in with a built 89' 325is motor. I put in a new clutch in the Getrag DOG LEG transmission that came with the car originally. I got new Alpina style wheels from Germany, and of course brand new tires. I found a used Zender spoiler and side skirts for the car and had them painted and fitted them on. Also has the real original alpina front spoiler with its own number. The car carries the alpina cluster, steering wheel, shift knob and the plaque on the dash. I believe that Alpina became designated as a manufacturer in 1983. Earlier cars were carried their original VIN from BMW. Once Alpina was designated as a manufacturer, they scratched out the BMW VIN and placed their own VIN on a car. Early Alpinas were either built at the Alpina factory or the fun bits were added at an authorized dealer which I think that is the case with this car. Got the full alpina treatment from dealer in 1980. For more information please message me your number and we can chat. Other than that, happy bidding!
