1986 BMW 735i Arizona Car. I bought this car while on vacation up north last fall to fully restore it. And I had it transported here last August from Vermont where I bought it from the original owners. They bought this car new at the BMW dealer in Arizona where it spent most of its life except for two years in upstate New York in the Hamptons. They were keeping this car at their summer home in Vermont for future restoration but since they bought a new BMW they decided to sell it. It has 104,767 original miles on the car. This car is extremely clean and rust free except a few tiny spots of surface rust that can easily be fixed on moonroof. The shock towers, wheel wells, and spare tire well are in like-new condition with NO RUST! This is the reason I bought this car on first sight and had it brought back home to Florida to restore it because it was so clean. I have clean carfax for this car showing history etc. NO ACCIDENTS it has a small ding on her nose and that's the only one on the car.
I just had emergency open-heart surgery 3 months ago and it is clear now that I will not be able to physically restore this car as I planned, so I will pass her along to another BMW buff to get her back to like-new condition. This car was running fine when I got it here last August but it has been sitting since then. I just put a new $125.00 battery in it and it won't start, it's not getting any spark and I have no equipment to check it out or test it. So I will sell it like it is and you can easily get her to run if you have some mechanical skills and old BMW testing equipment. If I have to take her to the BMW shop to get it diagnosed and running it will be put back up for sale at a higher price in running condition. It needs a full restoration but this car is so clean it has to be restored. So if you can work on these cars, buy it and get her going and you will have a great car to drive and restore. This was BMW's first big fuel injection car made for the Autobahn and new in 1986 these were over $70,000. So if your looking for one of these older rare fuel injection BMW's this is the car to get! My medical loss is your gain. I want to see her bought by someone who will get her restored. This car has the power moon roof which was a rare option back then. Come by and see her and you will buy her that's how clean she is! I am open to reasonable offers but I won't take any low ball offers so don't waste your time.
