Car description |

For sale: 1990 BMW 325i an S52 engine swap from a 1999 M3.
Car was originally Alpine White. It was in horrific shape when I purchased it with many dents, bacon strips, poorly rolled fenders, surface rust spots, ill-fitted/improper air suspension setup (death trap), with several shades of rattle-can paint. I decided to fix some body issues, shave the door locks, side mouldings, and wrapped it with Avery Dennison Gloss Light Blue vinyl, painted some of the intricate areas (such as the lower valances and windshield cowl) with a color match automotive paint, and replaced a seemingly endless list of seals, clips, mouldings, and trim pieces. It is far from perfect, but as non-concours e30's go, this one is pretty clean.
I have countless hours and well over $12,000 of documented parts/upgrades in it not including the swap (which I realize I can't get back) including:

Notes to consider and/or answer some frequently asked questions:
-Exhaust could stand to be re-worked to make it hang higher up in the undercarriage and to make it perfectly centered.
-headliner is the worst area in the interior, with no cloth under the sunroof.
-sunroof is leak free, with new rubber seals, however it will need to be adjusted to use it. I never open it so never worked with it.
-no a/c
-manual steering
-slow oil leak, I already replaced the oil pan and gasket, so I'm not positive where it's from, but not unexpected given the age. Still runs strong, I just check the oil every so often to be safe.
-dash has one area that is sadly starting to finally crack (approximately less than 1/4" long).
- I still have the metal hood and trunk that go with it if you'd prefer.
-the current odometer in the cluster reads 132,xxx miles and is working, however from the history report, the chassis has over 250,xxx miles on it. I didn't find this out until I listed it on eBay.
I'm motivated to sell for a reasonable offer. Just too many other projects going on and not enough time to enjoy it.
