1989 BMW 735i 5 speed manual. One of 400 imported from Munich. Mileage is about 215,000.

The car has been in my barn for 3 years. I don't use it. It has issues. The motor is running rich. The car runs poorly and stalls when you give it gas. This was an "overnight" problem that developed 3 years ago. Prior to that it ran like new. The clutch trans and rear are great. I always serviced and maintained the car. I bought it from the original owner family in 2005. It was my daily driver for many years. It's truly an amazing car. It handles and rides like a dream. The car has every option available in 1989 including heated power seats. The AC and the heat worked great when parked. The car was never in accident as far as I can tell. There is some rust on the bottom inside of the doors. There are a few minor dings. Since I owned the car I have done many repairs:
New head gasket

New oil spray bar banjo bolts, cross drilled, valves adjusted every 15,000 miles

struts

upper and lower control arms

brakes, front calipers and rotors

tires

trans fluid and filter

fuel and air filter

E38 16" rims

plugs, wires, cap, rotor

belts

battery

radiator

coolant tank, fan clutch

Oil and filter every 3000 miles.

The car will need a stereo. The SRS light is on. The climate control fan stopped working. The front power door locks act up. The cigarette lighters don't work. fuse blows.The passenger power seat sometimes will not go back and forth. The paint is original and in good shape. will need buffing and waxing. The outside mirrors will need paint. Many extra parts included. The chassis was well undercoated when built in Munich and has no rot. It is a solid car.

Do not expect a new car for $9.99. Yes, I could part it out but I don't want to. Can be easily fixed with a BMW scan tool I don't have. I don't know why it is running rich and crappy. I suspect the ECU.I don't want to foul the cat.
