Car description

Hello E30 Enthusiasts,

Up for sale is my 1988 325is 2.5L engine, one of the most desirable e30s, zinnoberrot with black leather interior.

This is a good example of a very clean unmolested E30, in a pretty amazing condition over all for a 30 year old car, a very solid, Rust Free California car, with a Crack Free Dash, and original leather seats that have plenty of life left in them. A true survivor, fortunate enough to be taken care of throughout its lifeby the 2 previous owners, who managed to even pass it on with a nice size binder going back as early as 1993.

Must see all photos and videos below to appreciate.

I have posted over 50 pictures to cover as many angles on this car as anyone can see, and 5 Videos to show how it runs plus a walk around.

I've had the car for only a couple of years, yet have managed to get a lotof work done to it, however, after 35 years of driving and, 30+ bimmers later, I get bored fast especially when there's nothing left to do to a car, so its time for me to move on, New year, New projects.

During my ownership I spent over $13k in restoration which includes the following:

Converted to a Short Shift 5spd manual transmission running on Liqui Moly (included NEW Sachs Clutch Kit, Master and Slave Cylinders, Transmission Mounts, Clutch Line, Flex Disc, Center Support Bearing, Shift Insulator Rubber Boot, Shifter Leather Boot, Shift Knob.

Proper paint job (All glass removed, sunroof, lights, mirrors, grills, moldings, door handles/locks, bumpers, spoilers, emblems, clips/grommets). Upgraded to plastic bumpers, the original metal bumpers could be provided (buyer's discretion).

New OEM "is" Lip, Sunroof Seal, Emblems, Grommets, Clips, Fuel Filler Neck Rubber Seal.

Complete Timing Belt Service (new water pump, etc)

All New Drive Belts

Cooling System Service

New Radiator, A/C Condenser, Drier, Hoses

New Valve Cover Gasket, and Vacuum Hoses

New Spark Plugs, Wires, Distributor, Rotor

New Battery and Oil Change with Castrol GTX 20-50(few months ago)

New Steering Wheel OEM Badge

New Air Intake Boot

New Windshield Wipers

New Hood Shock

New OEM Oil Level Sender

New Oil Filter Housing Seal

New Fuel Filter

New Engine Mounts

New Rear Sway Bar Links

Rebuilt Steering Rack

New Tie Rods

All 4 New Rotors, Brake Pads, Sensors

4 wheel alignment on very clean BBS Basketweave Rims with fairly new tires.

I also had the Suspension done last spring and upgraded with 4New Bilstein B4 Shocks (very smooth driving experience)

4 New Shock Mounts

New Front Sway Bar Bushings

New Control Arm Bushings

New Catalytic Convertor

New Muffler

Car passed the California Smog Test with no issues.

All Power, from Antenna, All Locks, Windows, Mirrors, to All Interior/Exterior Lights, Map Lights, OEM Radio, OBC, Odometer, work, as well as the Heater, A/C (ice cold serviced and converted to R134)

Low Beams were upgraded to HID since I don't see very well at night, but could swap back to OEM bulbs (Buyer's discretion).

Probably forgetting some things, but all service records will be in the binder.

Most of the services were done at Garage54 in Glendale CA.

Only issues with the car that I haven't addressed yet since they didn't really bother me were:

Power sunroof struggles a bit when closing (could be because of the new seal, not sure)

The "Brake Lining" Light is still on, even after they replaced the brake sensors (haven't figured out how to reset it).

So if you're looking for a long term, classy, reliable, comfortable, adult owned, unmolested, beautiful E30, this is it!...I've put a lot of time and money into this car and would like/hope to see it go into good hands...

IF YOU'RE LOCAL, PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR A "TEST DRIVE". I DON'T HAVE THE TIME FOR THAT. I HAVE POSTED VIDEOS TO OFFER EVERYONE A "TEST DRIVE" AND SHOW WHAT THIS CAR IS ALL ABOUT, WHETHER YOU'RE DOWN THE STREET OR 3000 MILES AWAY. ITS ONLY FAIR...Serious Buyers ONLY PLEASE! . This is not your average E30 and will be priced accordingly...

CLEAN and Clear Title, Pink Slip in hand.

Please note that you are bidding/buying a 30 year old used car and it has been subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. I described the vehicle as accurately as possible, however, there's no possible way to include every detail and imperfection.
