Car description |

For sale today is a tastefully built M30 powered E30 sedan. This is a rust free California car with original paint and body panels. This car has been thoroughly gone through top to bottom. This was built by BimmerHeads in Santa Clarita, California. This is one of our personal vehicles.
The engine is a M30B35 bottom end with a knife edged crankshaft, H-beam connecting rods, and ARP rod bolts. The cylinder head is from a 1980 Euro and has been extensively ported & polished. The cylinder head upgrades include heavy duty rocker arms, rocker locks, heavy duty single valve springs, and a BimmerHeads 284 camshaft. The head gasket is OEM BMW and it's using ARP head studs. This cylinder head and bottom end combination provides a compression ratio of 10:1. The intake manifold and valve cover have been powdercoated in low gloss black. The wiring is cleaned up using E30 M3 firewall wiring covers.
The transmission is a Getrag 260/6 using an E28 M5 flywheel and a Spec Stage 2 clutch. The shifter assembly has been rebuilt along with a Z3 1.9L short shifter. The differential is a 3.25 LSD.
The suspension consists of Ground Control coilovers, Koni adjustable shocks & struts, ST sway bars, E30 M3 control arm bushings, Revshift subframe bushings, Ireland Engineering trailing arm bushings, and Ireland Engineering differential mount. The front brakes have been upgraded with Wildwood 4 piston calipers and larger rotors. All of the soft brake lines are upgraded with stainless steel braided. The wheels are E30-specific 16x8 Rota Slipstream ET20 with 225/45 Maxxis MA-V1 tires. The lug bolts have been replaced with a Motorsport Hardware race stud kit. The front also has a powdercoated red Sparco style strut brace. The oil pan is protected with a Red46 stainless steel skid plate.
The interior has been upgraded with Houndstooth sport seats, matching rear seat, and matching door panels. The dashboard is very clean but not perfect. There is a tiny crack developing inside the package tray area. The steering wheel has been upgraded with a M-Tech 2 unit and the HVAC panel is from a Euro 316i.
The exterior of the car has been upgraded with a Euro 316i front valance, 325iS front lip, and RyanG splitter. The original diving board bumpers have been upgraded to the 89+ plastic bumpers. The headlights are Hella Euro ellipsoids along with Euro headlight grilles. The rear is wearing a US license plate filler.
This car has been completely gone through. All suspension components, brakes, wheel bearings, bushings, etc have been recently replaced. The engine was properly built in-house and probably has no more than 2000 miles on the clock. There is literally too much to list. This car is a BLAST to drive!
Thank you,Matt
