1992 BMW 3-SERIES E30 318iC CONVERTIBLE M42 CLEAN & RUSTFREE

Available for sale is this beautiful 1992 BMW 318iC with the great M42 peppy four cylinder engine and manual transmission. It has been owned by a BMW E30 enthusiast who proudly did most of the work. This car was a California car and ended up in Southern Nevada; therefore NO RUST!! The chassis has 203K miles but the drivetrain (engine and transmission) was sourced from a donor with approximately 99k miles. Before the engine was installed, it was refreshed and suspect seals were replaced including the rear main seal and both oil pan gaskets. The transmission was also freshened up and fluid changed. Drivetrain runs and drives verygood.

Engine and transmission replaced from a low mile vehicle

New clutchkit

New V-belts

New seals

New spark plugs

New hoses; vacuum, coolant and air intake

New original radiator, coolant filled with BMW blue coolant

New fuel pump, fuel filter and a new fuel TANK!

New Fresh Paint (very expensive)!

Third brake light deleted (Trunk lid is from a 1991 318iS coupe)

Carpet is exceptionally clean

Work that needs to be done:

AC needs a recharge; it still has the R12 system

Radio, On Board Computer (OBC) and antenna are inoperable

Brake booster may need work as the pedal is a little harder than my other e30s.

Interior is pretty good, top part of the rear seats have some cracks, as well as the drivers seat and virtually no stains on the carpet!!

This is a good BMW E30 template, won’t take much to be perfect.
