Car description |

Strong-running, classic E28 535i 5-speed for sale. Diamond Black Metallic exterior, tan leather interior. Big sunroof. Beautiful, FAST (130mph+) car that's a fine daily driver now but would make a perfect restoration project for an enthusiast. Getrag G265/6 transmission (arguably the best transmission BMW ever made). Standard-size BMW alloys (NOT metric TRX) with new 205/60R15 tires, plus spare set of good, metal-studded snow tires. Kenwood stereo (but have the factory radio, too). Straight/no accidents.
Negatives are the ones common to E28s of this vintage: instrument cluster died recently (circuit board battery?); original Freon a/c system nonfunctional (needs conversion to legally recharge); power assist fluid leak; a couple small, repairable upholstery glitches (one cut, one split seam; see photos); dash cracks; hood/roof/trunk need paint (sides, oddly, are near-perfect).
Second owner. Clean title. Full vehicle history report available on request. Straight/no accidents. I FREAKING LOVE this car but I've finally admitted I'll never restore it like I've dreamed of doing, so I'd rather it go to someone who'll treat it like it deserves. $4,600 or best reasonable offer.
