Original e28 M5

Description

I purchased this M5 nearly 8 years ago with 46,698 original miles. Apparently it was a weekend car for the previous owners. She drives great, the S38 engine pulls strong, and the suspension is tight.
The good (upgrades and maintenance duringmy ownership)

• New radiator and water pump. New belts.
• New plug wires.
• New brake booster.
• New brake accumulator.
• E32/E34 540i front brake upgrade from TurnerMotorSport. Have original 4 pot calipers.
• New upper and lower control arms.
• SLS removed. Replaced with factory BMW springs and BMW Bilstiens matched to the springs (front and rear). The springs lower the car 10mm.
• New power steering, brake fluid, and coolant reservoirs.
• Power steering pump re-built.
• Driver's power seat re-built and reinforced . Includes new seat bracket. Sturdy.
• "MWrench" steering mount upgrade.
• Clutch pedal bracket reinforcement.
• Recent valve cover gasket.
• All fluids changed recently.
• Regular oil changes with Valvoline Synthetic 20-50 (high zinc).
• Transmission shifts perfectly. Clutch is strong and operates properly.
• Kenwood Excelon head unit with Polk speaker upgrade.
• New throttle linkage.
• Complete toolkit except for spark plug wrench. Includes red screwdrivers.
• Bridgestone Potenza tires in very good condition.
• Un-Cracked Dash.
• Billy Boat exhaust, late model BMW center section, VSR1 high performance Cats. Sounds great!
• Sunroof works.
• Antenna works (black).
• Always garaged at home and at work.
• All records.
• ETC.

Negatives:

• A/C doesn't work. New condenser installed but was told that the compressor needs to be replaced.
• Previous owner damaged the left front fender. It has been replaced properly.
• Cruise control is missing.
• In great shape but may have small issues due to age.

Paint is in good shape. Please excuse pollen on flat surfaces. Hard to stay ahead of it this time of year.
