Car description |
---|
Just in time for the nice weather. You want a convertible that can seat four in a real back seat--this E30 is the one. This body style is the one collectors want. I'm only selling because I'm moving to a place with no garage, so I've got nowhere to put it.
The good:
New top ($1700!)
New transmission ($2400!)
Always garage-kept
Dashboard intact, no cracks
Upgraded hide-away stereo/CD player/Satellite-radio enabled
Car cover included
Dinan chip included--I removed it so I wouldn't have to use premium fuel but if you'd prefer the better performance, put it back in. I didn't miss it.
I'll even include the Chilton manual.
Can be your daily driver.
The less-good:
Top goes down, but doesn't always go back up. All you need to do is disconnect the top from the motors and make it manual, and you're good. An easy fix.
One little rusty patch on the right front fender (shown)
Internal driver's side door handle needs to be re-attached
Runs a little warm. Probably just the thermostat.
Leather seats are 27 years old, so they're in good shape, considering.
Center arm rest console needs some love.
Don't let this one get away. You'll be happy all over again (and the envy of all you pass) every nice day this summer.
