Car description

If you're looking at this listing, you probably already know the details of what you're looking at. BMW's classic E30 with an AWD transmission - this one comes with a manual transmission and is a coupe - a combination that is hard to come by. On top of that it is relatively low mileage with no major issues. So why am I selling it? And what is wrong with it?
I bought the car back in November of 2016 after having a crappy driver pull in front of me while commuting on my way to work on my 600rr. I enjoyed the view of the world upside down until coming down on the driver's hood. Bruised and hurting badly, but I escaped with no major injuries. My bike was totaled and I was thinking maybe riding on the streets wasn't for me anymore - so I went on the hunt for a new daily driver.
I searched for a few weeks for E30s but none were exactly what I was looking for - a coupe, AWD, manual, a decent body/color. I finally came across a local guy who was selling his - it needed some love and I was more than willing to commit myself to giving it what it needed. I already knew a decent bit about working on cars but the next couple months I learned more than I had in my previous 35+ years working on the car almost every night after work in the garage.
I did all I could to it before having a local shop (Bimmer Rescue - you can Google them. Very reputable place with great staff) finish up what I couldn't. I drove it throughout the summer before getting the itch to start riding again. I ended up buying a KTM Duke in August and knew my love affair with the E30 was done for and she would need a new home. I got some body work (got hit while parked on the street - softball size dent in the quarter panel and a cracked front bumper) done in September which brought it to back to its glory days.
So, a listing of the major things I have replaced myself or had done by Bimmer Rescue. I have most receipts from all the work done:
- Replaced all belts (including timing) at ~171k miles.- Replaced major cooling hoses- Replaced a few vacuum hoses- Replaced water pump- Replaced thermostat housing- Replaced rear boots. Fronts were done by the previous owner in early 2016- Replaced rear brakes and rotors- Flushed front & rear differential, transfer case, and transmission- Replaced rear differential output seals- Replaced multiple seals on the transmission and transfer case- Replaced all guibos- Replaced tie rods- Replaced front sway bar and bushings as well as front sway bar links- Replaced valve cover gasket- Replaced shifter rod with a Garagistic DSSR (had to file it slightly to clear the transmission)- Replaced gas tank- Replaced fuel sender units- Replaced fuel filter- Replaced odometer gears (noticed it had stopped working after filling up for gas). It is probably ~30-50 miles off- Replaced fan and fan clutch- Swapped stereo with a bluetooth head unit with working hands-free mic.
No rust. None. Even Bimmer Rescue was surprised.
So what doesn't work and what needs to get done?
Mechanically:- Slight coolant leak from one of the hoses.- Slight oil leak from rocker on valve cover- Slight power steering fluid leak- Engine mounts need to be replaced- Oil sensor doesn't work and needs to be cleaned or replaced- Window washer fluid sensor doesn't work or needs to be replaced
Digital:- The multi-function computer's LCD screen is shot. Needs to be replaced. I do have the analog clock if you wanted to replace it with that

Cosmetic:- The dash is in surprisingly good condition with a small crack (there's a picture of it in the listing)- The front seats need more love than anything else. The driver's side is out of a convertible because the previous owner couldn't find a coupe seat. The leather is very worn all around and there are rips in the both passenger and driver's seats.- There are small chips in the paint of forward facing parts from 26 years of driving- Black trim on the outside is faded from years of being in the sun.
Misc:- The engine noise insulators are original and shot. I have replacements but never installed them because I didn't want to remove the hood and not be able to get it re-aligned. So they will come with the car.
I have the last inspection report from Bimmer Rescue I can send anyone who is interested in it as well as receipts from nearly everything I bought. If you're local and want to come check out the car I'm good with that.
Thanks for looking and feel free to shoot me any questions you have. I'm sure I'm missing something that'll I need to add later anyways.
