This 533i is originally from South Carolina and in 2012 was sold and brought out to Los Angeles. The second owner, a Hollywood producer, put a lot of work into it but passed away soon after and left it to his friend. His friend didn't end up wanting the vehicle and sold it to me, the fourth owner after a few months of ownership. I've driven this car on multiple road trips from LA to Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and San Diego. Runs great, have had very few mechanical difficulties with it since I've owned it and would feel comfortable using as a daily driver. It's one of the cooler running e28's I've driven, and recently has had the timing adjusted so accelerates and idles very smooth. As of recently I've lost my additional parking space so keeping a second car means parking it on the street and potentially getting messed up. It's in good condition for it's age, took me years to find, and would hope that whoever buys it plans on keeping it well maintained. Other than the issues mentioned below I'm not aware of any major, it's overall a clean looking & running vehicle but will be sold as-is. Any questions please ask. If you do buy it now, car will not be available to ship till December 2nd.

Previous Owner Major Repairs: (I've got receipts in hand for these, over $10k)

May, 2011 - Rebuilt cluster, rebuilt drive shaft, alignment, trans mount, shift boot & knob, tie rods,

August, 2011 - Replace fuel pump, water pump, and coolant sensor

September, 2011 - Replace power antenna and radiator fan & clutch

January, 2012 - Replace clutch, master and slave cylinder

February, 2012 - Alternator Remanufactured

June, 2012 - Replace brakes, shocks, and struts

July, 2012 - Replace control arms & muffler hangers

May, 2013 - Seat & Headliner Repair

July, 2015 - Replace Catalytic Converter

Major Repairs Since I've Owned It:

October, 2015 - Oil Pan gasket, front crank seal and belts, replace flex disc, and rear trans seal

November. 2015 - Replace power steering pump

July, 2016 - New Battery

November. 2016 - Differential service, spark plugs, valve adjustment, valve cover gasket

August, 2017 - New spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and airflow sensor

Known Issues:

- A/C doesn't hold a charge, but has been converted. Most likely a seal has gone bad in the condenser. I filled it up once and it blew ice cold air for about a week.

- Brake light comes on after driving for awhile, could be a sensor, brake lines, or brake bomb.

- Onboard computer keypad doesn't work, seems to have been disabled by previous owner.

- Coolant light comes on but just needs the sensor replaced
