Car description

1987 BMW 325e - Amazing Original Condition! So the story: My son and I spent months looking for a pristine E30 for M50 & manual upgrade. After looking at many "lesser" examples we found this original, straight, rust free car. We acquired almost all the parts for a 5 speed conversion including a getrag 260 transmission, dual mass fly wheel, slave, master, pressure plate, clutch disc, drive shaft and pedals. The only missing parts are a pedal bracket and clutch line. All this is included if you are inclined to swap the AT that works perfectly, or just sell the manual conversion parts. After much contemplation, we decided this was much too nice and well preserved an example to modify, so now it can be yours. The pictures tell the story. If you would like an additional picture let me know. This car runs, drives, and behaves PERFECTLY. The interior is excellent. The exterior is straight. All the panel numbers match except for the hood. Mileage is approximate as this car is in use. As expected with a 30 year old car there are some minor issues none of which effect drive-ability discussed below.
The good:
Original and un-restored
Practically no rust (only one or two surface spots only behind drivers front wheel as pictured)
Clean undercarriage
Most everything electrical and mechanical works perfectly
Matching panel numbers (except hood)
Engine still has preservative spray on coating and BMW stickers
Runs and drives excellent
Transmission excellent
Tight steering
Minimal squeaks/rattles
Upholstery is excellent
Dash is perfect
All lights work including fogs
All windows work (power)
Pop-out rear windows
Power mirrors work
All instruments work, lighter works, sunroof works, power locks work, dash lights work
No dents - straight body - very minor dings and scratches
Looks like mostly original paint
New battery
Newer brakes
Newer head unit with USB and AUX inputs
All four speakers sound good
Title in hand
Tires good at 75%
207K miles
Great gas mileage
Carpets are like NEW, must have had floor mats all it's life
BMW floor mats appear near new
Non smoker car
Fresh oil & filter

I'd wager this car was always garage kept
Drives out like a car 1/5th it's age
Reliable daily driver going up in value
Manual transmission option - parts included (~$1000 value)
BEAUTIFUL E30 in Delphin Grey!
The minor issues:
Missing rear ashtray, hinge broken on front ashtray, driver map pocket cracked (not very visible)
Passengers front seat doesn't slide back and forth but can be folded forward for access to back
Drivers and passengers seat recliner springs weak
Auto antenna must be raised/lowered manually, bracket on one wiper bladebroken but wiper works fine (the plastic part that comes with the wiper blade assembly)
Clear coat on roof peeling & fading paint- a light sanding and re-coat would cure this
A couple of level sensors indicate low but fluid levels actually ok -washer fluidand oil level
Brake lining light on intermittently even though linings are at 99%
AC may need a recharge (it's been <70 degrees since October so not sure)
Oil leak ~ a pintevery couple of months.
Came with goofy arm rest (removed but included) so there are holes in the console from that.
OBC may not work - tells time but LCD partly broken
No toolkit or spare (but looking to add a spare before it sells)
Prior attempted theft, insurance write off thus the title note. Pop out window smashed, radio, spare tire, toolkit, battery stolen, wiring damage. All repaired now.Washington State Patrol inspection deemed vehicle satisfactory.
Interestingly, the title in hand is clean and does not reflect salvage/rebuild or anything else abnormal.
Maybe some other minor stuff that I can't remember at the moment - one more - the panel under the steering wheel was torn but is neatly repaired and you can't see it unless you lay on the floor.
That's it! As you can tell my description is very detailed. If you have questions, ask! I'd drive this car across the country without hesitation today. This has been my son's daily driver over the winter. Beautiful E30 example. This car will only go up in value. True classic. Note - the white mark on the passengers door card is paint or marker, not a hole/gash.
