For sale ismy beloved 1988 BMW M5 in excellent stock condition. This is a well sorted original M5 with many NLA parts. A Florida car its entire life with NO rust! These cars came with leather throughout theinterior including console and ash tray. Seats were reupholstered in leather in October, Headliner and steering wheel was redone in Alcantara suede (original wheel included). I had this car inspected from top tobottom byRedline BMW Performance in Pompano Beach. Suspension hasundergonea recent rebuild keeping the original SLS (Self Leveling System) suspension. Brakes also rebuilt recently withreceipts also available. Wheels are original including spare of which I had the 4 restored along with 5 new Continental Tires. Weather stripping and felt ("cat fur") excellent condition or replaced new. Paint looks great (not original but still exceptional at lease 7/10 conservatively). Vin tags in place except for drivers door and frontfender (carfax shows 1 accident after hitting a parked car in 2001). Compression test results of 199psi-209psi across all six cylinders. All service is up to date, over $4000 in recent maintenance with receipts available. Passenger side power headrest not presently functioning (motor turning but no movement). Factory Radio turns on but goes to static. All other power options functioning properly. A/c is ice cold. This is a great car that needs nothing to enjoy and presents very well. Drive it to any weekend cruiser and be proud! I've sorted everything important so that youwon't have to. Keep up with the proper maintenance and this car will last well over 200k miles. It's a blast to drive and loves to be driven in a spirited manner. This is a true drivers car and Nothing drives like an E28 M5! Inspections and questions are welcome.
