1990 BMW 325is with 5-speed manual transmission. 134. 25 miles. alpine white exterior and tan interior. This car has been very reliable. and was being used as a daily driver (about 80 miles a day) for over a year until I bought another car to keep the miles off this one and save some money on gas. It never broke down on me. and given the work I've done to the motor especially. I continue to have full confidence in its dependability. The A/C blows cold. Engine: 134. 25 miles. Lots of recent work (preventative or fixing issues that were there when I bought the car). including: -Head gasket -All new cooling hoses and expansion tank -water pump and t-stat -distributor cap and rotor -relatively new radiator -of course timing belt/tensioner And more Needs: brake booster replacement. Annoyance at this point. but it has a vacuum leak. I'll include a used-but-good brake booster in the sale. Also. if you fill the gas tank up you'll notice a fuel leak by the driver side rear wheel. I'm told this is a common location but I've just left it and avoided filling up for the time being while I addressed bigger things. Transmission: -new clutch -never slips or grinds but does make some noise in between shifts in the lower gears mostly. Maybe something new transmission fluid would help. Suspension: Handling feels good/basically normal. but very stiff ride quality. I was going to just upgrade the whole suspension anyway but didn't get around to it. so this remains. Exterior: Great overall condition. Was repainted at some point and some of the trim wasn't masked off perfectly. Still. it looks better than most e30s on the road and I get a lot of compliments. Interior: Very clean. The usual dash cracks and somewhat loose headliner. I think a couple of speakers might be out. Rest of interior is very clean and the seats have very minor wear. Bottom line: I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car cross-country as far as the motor goes - even when I bought it (with some pre-existing conditions) it never broke down or let me down. and it's only gotten stronger since then with all the work I've done. It has a few issues left but I think that given how solid it is in other respects. this would be a great car for an enthusiast who wants an above-average e30 in looks and in dependability. A lot of the work has been done for you already. If this car doesn't sell for what I feel is the least it deserves. I may just keep it. Mainly I'm selling because I think it deserves an owner with more time to devote to it. but I'm not looking forward to letting it go. Feel free to ask any questions you have left after reading my description and I'll be happy to answer them. Good luck!On Jan-15-15 at 14:39:01 PST. seller added the following information:EDIT: I forgot to mention that this car has the 4. 10 diff (I believe the PO installed it) and so the gearing is pretty aggressive. It revs a bit high on the highway. but is a lot of fun around town.
