Description
Super nice 1992 BMW 325IS, this car has been in my family since it was new, with 77,250 original miles (could be slightly higher with test drives). The garage has been garage kept for most of it's life and I have replaced themajority of the interior over the past two years, new door panels, headliner, carpet, front seats recovered, window tinting, and radio (CD/Bluetooth/USP ports, etc.).
We have changed the oil with synthetic old (every 3,000 miles) since new. Additionally, I have replaced the radiator, water pump; main seal, transmission fluid, brakes, oil pan gasket, struts, shock, bearings, battery, converted the AC to the new freon type, replaced fuel sending unit, and replaced the heater core. The tires were replaced less than 10K miles ago and are in great shape. I recently had the exterior detailed and the original paint looks very nice (some minor imperfections) for a car of this age. The car passes emission testing and the engine runs very nice.
A couple of minor things that I have not had time to address, the sunroof is closed and disconnected, the cable guides in side the sunroof need to be replaced. There is a small dent on the hood near the wipers there the hood doesn't clear properly (see picture)if you hold the wiper down when closing it is not a problem,and there is a warning light that comes on when the headlights are turned on stating the tail light is out...however it is working properly. You can dismiss the code manually on the computer when driving....we have not been able to figure this out. Finally, the drivers side windshield washer port seem partially clogged....the motor works but not much is coming out, I have ordered a new nozzle and will replace before shipping.
