Car description

This car has been my daily driver for 6 months now but I have now decided to let it go to concentrate on my other car. It is by no means perfect and it has all the needs that a rescued E28 comes with. That being said the car has been good to me, t's survived LA traffic and has never left me stranded.ExteriorWhen I bought the car it had an amateur repair to the left/rear door. The job was very bad so I decided not to try and fix it and instead sourced another Schwarz black door. You can still see some of the remnants of bad masking from the previous fix on the rear quarter panel. The paint has some pitting and scratches but it's definitely not an eye-sore for a daily driver. Very presentable. It won't win any awards unless the judges are standing 10 ft away.I recently discovered some rust around the trunk seal (see pictures) but that's pretty much it. The windshield is cracked and the fogs/headlights are in average condition.InteriorAgain, ot perfect but better than many. It had pearl beige comfort seats when I purchased it, hey were in really bad shape so I replaced them with a set of recovered sport seats. The rear was also replaced with a black bench. The dash is cracked. It looks like someone tried to repair it and failed so it currently sports a dash mat.ElectricIt has a battery drain that I have yet to diagnose. I tracked it to the AUX fan circuit but haven't really looked into it. I currently just unplug the battery over night.Has an aftermarket stereo. Antenna, unroof, indows and central locking work. All lights and turn signals work as they should.CoolingI have never had any heating issues but I spotted some drops of coolant on my driveway recently. I'll try to get this fixed for the new owner.Suspension and wheelsEverything seems stock and shocks/springs seem fine. New front Loemforder sway links. All other components are hanging in there but they feel a bit tired. The wheels are OEM BMW Style 29 in good condition but the tires should be replaced.Engine and transmissionThe odometer is stopped at 133K I estimate the engine to have more like 170K. The valves are more tappy than my other E28 but other than that it idles well and pulls strong. All stock.I've really enjoyed the auto transmission in LA traffic. I have not had any trouble with it and the "sport" mode is actually useful.BrakesBrakes are fine but the pedal feels a bit harder than my other E28.ExhaustBosal muffler and aftermarket cat. It's smogged in CA for the next 2 years. As far as history or documentation the previous owner was not much help and didn't have much information on the car.I'm being as honest as I can be about the car and am willing to take detailed picture if requested.Clean title ready to be signed-off.

Edit: My plans changed and I will be out of town from today until Sunday the 27th. I will upload more pictures this evening (interior, ngine bay) but will no longer be able to accommodate special requests for pictures.People have been asking if the car will make a long drive. If it's more than 300 miles I would recommend shipping. I would only drive a longer distance if you are familiar with these cars and are comfortable with a wrench.
