Up for auction is this 1990 BMW 325i convertible, lpine white with a full cardinal red interior. Amazing condition. To the best of my knowledge i'm the 3rd owner of this vehicle, ith the 2nd being my father. The carfax and title are free and clear, here are no accidents or repair-body work done to this vehicle. The car has always been garage kept. The Carfax show's 65,000 miles when my father bought the car in 1997. The odometer stopped working in the early 2000's at 70,224 miles (Which is why it shows a title issue). As you may know, his is common with E30 BMW's. I know for a FACT that the car can have no more than 80,000 miles as it sits. My father only drove it back and forth for errands a few times a month, 0 miles at most. My drive back from Florida was the furthest it's been driven, And it loved it!!) I'm selling the car because as much I love the handling, erformance, nd attention I get when I drive it, nbsp;I'm just not a convertible guy, nd I can't justify keeping a car I only drive a few times a month. I'm hoping to sell this car to someone who will love and take care of it as it always has been. Serious buyers only please. It's very important to me that it finds a good home. Exterior: Original Alpine white with cardinal pinstripe to match the interior. Firstly there is absolutely no rust on this car. The side mirrors have some bubbling which is common on BMW plastic mirrors. The body paint is original and in very good shape with a nice mirror to it. There are things you would expect with age, ncluding a small scuff on the front plastic lip, mall rock chips and a few little dimples. As I said, hey are very, ery minor and can't be seen unless your right up next to it at an angle ( I didn't notice until I was waxing it with the sunset just right). The bottle cab wheels have minimal curb rash, nd all 4 tires are new, tock size, ith less than 2,000 miles on them. The manual top was installed in 1997. It is German fabric, op notch, nd in excellent condition, reated with protectant as well, o fading, ips or tears. Window is clear as well, s it rarely sees the sun. I have never put the top down before, ut my father did most times he drove in Florida, nd I know it works as it should. All exterior lights are not hazy or faded in color, nd work as they should. Windshield is original, nd has a few little marks, crapes and pops, ery minor, othing that effects vision. Interior: Original complete cardinal red, arpets and mats as well. Dashboard looks brand new and deep black, bsolutely no cracks or drying. The sport seats are also in good condition. Its looks as though the car rarely had passengers, s the driver seat is the only seat that shows a little wear and scuffing in the leather and stitching. This is located on the left side bolsters from entering and exiting the car, nother common thing for a 24 year old car. Carpet is in good shape as well, o rips or tears. The drivers side airbag is a plus as well. The stereo was put in 1997 by an audio store. It is all stock speaker placement with a Kenwood receiver. It is nice and gets the job done tastefully. Auto antenna works perfectly as well. The sport seats have 4 controls.....A swivel for the whole seat, front bolster, front to back, nd a back rest adjustment, long with pivoting headrests. The seatback adjustment needs some lubrication and is stuck at the moment on both seats. I looked it up and it seems to be a common problem and an easy fix. The swivel feature is good to adjust your position until its fixed though, orks quite nicely. Hydraulic rod is worn out in the trunk and needs to be fixed in order to hold trunk in open position. Car has BMW Spare tire, nd tools. Cruise control, ower windows, eater, nd fans all work. Air conditioning works but needs a recharge. The onboard computer works but is stuck in German, etric.... and just needs to be reset to English if you prefer. Wiper fluid reservoir has a leak and will need to be repaired. Mechanical: It runs excellent, ot much more to say about that, t has nice torque and the auto trans works as an E30 trans should. It handles great with the new tires and suspension work. Its is running Redline 20w40 oil, nd is scheduled for a fresh change in the coming weeks. It has always been run on good gas...B.P in Florida and Shell since I've taken possession. Door locks are in need of actuators and will sometimes stick, sing the trunk to lock and unlock to whole car is quirky, ut works well for the temporary time period, nbsp; This is also common and not an expensive fix. Both original keys and owners manual are included, long with all the service records I have, entley service manual, and Ragtopp top protectant included as well.************Less than 2,000 miles ago: Transmission mounts, ontrol arm bushings, ront struts, ront brakes, hifter assembly, luid changes, ir filter, ll 4 tires, our wheel alignment, rankshaft seal, amshaft seal, iming belt, ater pump, ll accessory drive belts, agnetic drain bolt, alve cover gasket, otor mounts, teering rack, new interstate battery. As you'll see from the pictures, he car is a classy and unmodified example of a classic E30 325i, hich are becoming harder and harder to find. Please only inquire if you are serious about this vehicle. Thank you for looking and good luck.
