1973 BMW 2002 TII- 5-speed, Recaro Seats/E24 Rear Buckets, Nice Patina, CA Car

This auction is for my 1973 BMW 2002 TII. It is an original California car as it was purchased new in San Diego where it spent most of its life before heading to Northern California. It was purchased and spent a few years in Ohio where I purchased it from a BMW Enthusiast who kept in his shop and drove very little. The car runs strong, he gear shift feels very good and tight and suspension is excellent. The car has some minor rust (see pictures) and has what I think it a nice patina. Restored "roundie" TII's are selling for $30k+ and I just wanted a well sorted out driver car that drove very well but Ididn'tmind taking to the grocery store. I feel I have a very low reserve so happy bidding.Here is the good:

• Brand new Rota RB20 Alpina 15" Rims with 195-50 Hankook Tires- These wheels were specifically designed aftermarket for the 2002
• European Turn Signal Lights
• H4 Flat Headlights
• Nice Chrome correct bumpers with nice grille
• All lights work
• Momo Steering wheel
• Undercarriage is very clean and virtually rust free for a 42 year old car
• Comes with a full set of keys with some duplicates
• Original Owners Manual
• Original Tool Case
• Original Spare Tire (well the wheel at least) with jack and tools
• Windows go up and down without any trouble
• Brand new Yellow Top battery

What you should know;

• This is a 42 year old car; not a new car, t leaks oil, akes noises and sometimes you can smell gas. Welcome to Vintage Cars.
• Front Windshield has scratch from windshield wiper on drivers side. I have a OEM used windshield that will be made available to winning bidder
• While the rubber seals are there; they are probably the original ones
• Please see pictures of areas that have rust. The trunk on the drivers side has some bubbling; I have a nice condition trunk from a '73 02 that will be made available to the winning bidder
• Dash has multiple cracks (see pictures) you can repair or purchase a cover
• Windshield washer tank is not OEM is an aftermarket part
• Car does not have a radio installed
• Obviously if so inclined the car can use a paint job

Car is located in La Jolla CA which is in San Diego and can be seen and driven by appointment. It has the original CA blue plates with an Ohio title.
