176,139 miles
Dark Green Exterior
Mushroom Interior (sort of a nice tan/grey color)
Car is a classic now and can have the "Historic" license plates, t least in NY
Runs great and is in very good shape.
Transmission shifts nice.
I only pay $100 per year to insure the car (as a second car)
This is the way the car looks... I didn't wax it, pray anything on it or grease it up for the photos.
Chrome is perfect
Carpets are very nice, eather is very nice. Some cracks in drivers seat surface.
Wood is very nice with only a few clear coat cracks
Incredibly powerful, mooth, uiet and comfortable.
Original price was something like $150,000 (I've also read $190,000) and that's in 1989 dollars!
New tires, rofessionally installed, alanced & hubs repacked
Complete new tie rod assembly, rofessionally installed & aligned
Complete new power steering assembly installed by Bentley Dealer
$10,000+ in repairs by previous owner done by Bentley Dealer just a few years ago (the previous owner passed away)
It is said that once you get past the first $10,000 in repairs on an old Bentley, ou're good to go. Well someone else has already paid those bills and I have the receipts. All the work was done by a Bentley/Lamborghini Dealer. The collector who owned the car and paid to have these repairs done passed away... the man who holds the "Deutsche Classic" (Mid Atlantic's Premier All-German Automotive Event) bought the car and sold it to me. I had the tires and tie rods replaced.
Currently kept in an airplane hanger at Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott. I drive it on the weekends.
Always starts first try even when I started it in winter during storage.
Just drove it all day in 90 degree weather with the air conditioner on without a problem.

Although the Turbo R had not been designed for racing, t captured the one-hour endurance distance title and 15 other major records, ome of which had stood for 50 years. The car covered over 140 miles in an hour, eating by eight miles the record held by a Lamborghini Countach.
It was the fastest sedan in the world at the time.

"What things are wrong with the car?"
Two tiny dings... one on the fender and one on the roof.
Car is 25+ years old and has been driven, o there are paint chips and typical car wear.
I don't have the original owners manual.
Small paint bubble area under one end of the chrome trim strip on the hood. It must be rust from the chrome strip fastener popping up under the paint, ecause the hood is aluminum.
The bottom of the passenger side rear door looks like it has an old repair and is not as smooth as it could be.
Drips mineral oil (from brake system) and transmission fluid (total leaks no more than a small dixie cup full after sitting all winter)
Paint cracks near the rear lower part of the roof
Smell of anti freeze through heat vents in cold weather - didn't get around to flushing/checking heater core. That was the next thing on my list.
Rear windows are slow, specially in cooler weather, ut they do work.
Front power seats are disconnected because they were glitchy. They say the little battery in the seat memory computer leaking causes this. One guy fixed it by cleaning the battery leak and replacing battery. I just found this out last week or I would have tried to fixed it by now. Motors and wiring harness taken out of front driver's seat (previous owner tried to fix?) All the parts are neatly in a box... all the screws, verything. Note: You can still adjust the seat exactly where you need it using the drive cables under the seat.
Speedometer & Tachometer just started working intermittently. They say the cable can come loose from back of gauge cluster. Have not checked it.
Interior lights sometimes stay on longer than they should, ut have always gone out eventually.
Power seatbelt sometimes moves back and forth more than once when car is put in park before you turn the car off.
None of these glitches have ever affected the performance of the car itself. They come and go and are, 've read, he result of corrosion on a connector. The Repair Manual on the CD is searchable and has every wiring diagram you or someone would need to track down these things. Bentley workshop manuals are expensive and I think this CD has them all on it. Fixing the seats and dome lights was going to be a winter project.

"Why are you selling it?"
I have the opportunity (in a specific location I always wanted) to buy a boat & slip on Cayuga Lake, o I'd like to sell the car to concentrate on and help pay for that.
