1974 Austin Marina GT (Coupe) 1800cc (MGB engine with single SU carb). I bought this probably 14 years ago. Got it running, did the bodywork and a few cosmetics. Took it to a couple of local shows - as a work in progress even back then. Unfortunately I never got time to finish it, but should be a fun project for someone else. Gets plenty of attention whenever I took it out.
Selling this car as an unfinished project. It has sat for probably close to 10 years. Paint is blistered so needs re-done. Body is solid except for the scabs and blisters. I had a friend of mine replace both driver and passenger floors with fabricated to shape sheet metal. Not perfect but it worked for what I needed at the time. I'll see if I can find some old photos from when this was done since the floor is now covered with carpet.
Engine is complete. Minus the emission stuff that was removed before I got it It ran before it was parked so there's no reason that it shouldn't run again after clean fuel /carb and being gone through. It does not run now though.
Delaware title is clean and clear, and in my name.
Bring a rollback or a trailer with a winch or some strong hands to roll it up. I'd like pick up within two weeks of auction end. I'm losing my spot on my friends driveway and I have another car (another Austin Marina - Citron yellow 4 door) parked behind it that I need to get listed and sold also. I'd like a 100 dollar PayPal deposit at auction end also.
I have a whole bunch of used parts, grilles, mechanical parts that will go with this car.
Again. For sale as is. It's a project.
Not sure on mileage. I don't think the odometer ever moved since I had it.
