I HAVE TO MANY PROJECTS, SO I HAVE TO SELL MY 1971 AUSTIN AMERICA. THIS IS A RARE MODEL OF A FAIRLY RARE AUTOMOBILE BECAUSE IT HAS THE FULLY SYNCRONIZED, 4 SPEED, MANUAL, TRANSMISSION (MOST CAME WITH AUTOMATICS). 1275 ENGINE. THE ADO16 WAS THE BIG BROTHER TO THE MINI. NEEDS TO BE RESTORED. THE BODY IS REALLY STRAIGHT. HAS SOME RUST IN THE TYPICAL LOCATIONS (FLOOR BOARDS, TRUNK PAN, SILLS) ALL EASILY REPAIRABLE. ALL THE GLASS IS IN GOOD CONDITION. ALSO COMES WITH SOME NEW OLD STOCK PARTS SUCH AS A WIRING HARNESS, FRONT AND REAR WINDSHIELD GASKETS, INSTRUMENTS, ROTORS, ETC. I'VE DISASSEMBLED MOST OF THE CAR (EXCEPT THE INTERIOR). ALOT OF THE PARTS I CLEANED AND/OR REPAIRED AS I TOOK THEM OFF.
