Car description |

We've decided to sell the family Wolseley! This is a rare car designed by Alec Issigonis-- the designer of the Austin Mini. This was supposed to be the Austin Maxi version...it just wasn't as big a hit. It was a super luxury vehicle back in 1973, though...and is still pretty great and gets lots of attention.
The VIN is WB4SE13678A and we imported it from England so it's right hand drive. It has a 4 speed manual transmission, and a 6-cylinder, transverse, twin-carb, single overhead cam engine--super unusual! The Hydrolastic suspension was just serviced and it has a new bluetooth cd/radio installed.
It starts, runs, and drives great-- no current problems. We have had it for a couple of years, but my husband loves to collect old cars and it's time to clean out the driveway a little. The interior is original and is in good condition overall- a tear in the drivers seat (seats are extra soft, you can feel the 70s luxury!), the wool headliner is stained. The car will leak inside in heavy rain. There are a few spots where the paint is bubbling up- I've tried to picture them clearly. It's not perfect but it is rare and fun to drive!
Call with questions 912.414.8993 or for a buy it now price. $200 deposit due at end of auction, full payment is due in 5 days of auction ending. I can help arrange shipping if needed.
