AUSTIN COOPER S 1275/1966

At 2006 I bought malfunctioning Mini Cooper S 1275. I repaired it thoroughly and tune engine reasonably: reinforced drive shafts, 649 camshaft, Omega forged pistons and aluminum skid plate. This gives 107 hp. To car’s chassis one cannot to do any changes. Shock absorbers changed to Bilstein. Front and rear wheels angles adjusted to rally drive suit. Final drive ratio fixed to 4.78 with limited slip differential lock. To gear box made straight cut and 4-synchronized. To Mini changed plastic windows and heated windscreen. After these changes Mini got FIA-passport and certification. The car became a great to drive and this Mini is real fast. With Mini one has driven since year 2007 with great success both at summer and at winter 32 historic rally races and sprints. With Mini Cooper S 1275 drove the last rally race Turku Karting XXXV at 8.10.2011.

Mini’s buyer has a chance to buy a lot of different Mini spare parts, aluminum rims with tires and tires for it.
