Car description

1959 AUSTIN-HEALEY 100-6 BN-6 TWO-SEATER ROADSTER. HEALEY BLUE WITH BLACK TRIM. 4-SPEED, TANDARD WHEELS. FIXED STEERING WHEEL. HEATER. SOLID CALIFORNIA DRIVER.Offered for sale, rom KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, s this 1959 BN-6 Two-Seater, arguably the prettiest body style of all the 6-cylider Big Healeys. This vehicle was recently purchased from the San Diego area of Southern California off it's long term owner. This is an original California car from new as evidenced by it's original Pink Slip (title). This car is extremely complete and original, till retains it's correct 100-6 engine (26D prefix) and gearbox, nd is a decent running and driving car. This car appears to have been originally red, ost likely with red trim. At some point in it's past it was modestly painted in Healey Blue. The body on the car is overall decent. There has been some previous repairs with filler on the lower portion of the front fenders and rear doglegs on the car, ut the rest of the body appears good. The underchassis on the car is very solid, s shown by the photos. The mainrails and outriggers are super solid and very straight. The original floors look good. There has been a small square cut out to repair the original trunk floor. There is no evidence of any frame or suspension damage. Overall, he car's underside is very good to excellent with a very good, olid chassis. This car starts easily on the button and the engine revs well with little to no smoke when cold only. Warmed up the exhaust is clear and fine. Oil pressure registers around 40 psi when driving which is correct. First gear has some typical noise for the age of the car, econd syncromesh is weak, 3/4th gear are very good. The car runs and drives decently down the road. The 4 shocks could use a service. The tires are fairly new and in great condition, itted to the original, ow-maintenance steel wheels with factory-correct hubcaps. Mechanically at this point, he car can be enjoyed as is...The car has been re-trimmed in black at some point with very comfortable seats installed from an early 70's MGB (which recline). The original style seats can be purchased new or used. The car also includes a brand new fitted Everflex tonneau cover in black, he original sidescreen set, nd the softtop frame with a decent used black softtop. Please look at all pictures and call or email with any questions.

This car is sold with a clear title and is available for inspection by appointment.

This car is located in Southern California,35 minutes (30 miles)from the Los Angeles Port of Long Beach.
