Car description

1959 Austin Healey BugEye Sprite Rotary-Powered Racer

$15000.00 or Make Offer!
(All reasonable offers will be considered! ...but please no ridiculous "lowball" offers.)

The Sprite was professionally built by Tri-Point Engineering (in California, they are a Mazda racing specialist shop). It was built as an autocross/track car & it was a contender for the national SCCA E Modified title.
Equipped with a 250 horsepower Mazda 13B Bridgeported Rotary engine, & a Saenz Racing 5-speed transmission.
Has a fiberglass tilt 1 piece front clip with nice flares + an integral air dam + the "BugEye" headlights shaved off. Also features HUGE fender flares all around (near perfect body work!).
It comes with an extra set of racing wheels, + a tonneau cover.
It has a Halon Fire-X system, Fuel cell with a Cobra filler neck that is centered on the rear deck (similar to how it would be located on a Shelby Cobra), Electromotive Tech II engine management & ignition system, Haltech programmable fuel injection, power steering with a narrowed Corvette steering rack, adjustable coil-over suspension with Fox adjustable racing shocks on the front & Koni coil-over shocks on the rear, 5-link rear suspension with Watts-linkage, 4-wheel disc brakes, JFZ 4-piston front brake calipers, Tilton pedals & master cylinders, braided stainless hoses.
13x10 & 13x12 alloy wheels.

Many Many $$ Invested! (OVER $45K! & it shows!)
(Total $$ invested in the build of this car is 3-4x my asking price.)

It was originally a California car, then Florida, then Texas. (Currently garaged/stored in Georgia).

Asking $15000.00 (...but all REASONABLE offers will be considered.)

I hate to sell it. But I haven't been using it, & I hate to see it just sitting.
Work & life have been super busy recently, & I don't see that changing any time soon. That's why I decided to sell it.
(Will need some maintenance (fluids changed, brakes bled, fresh racing tires, etc.) to bring it out of storage & make it race ready.)

BTW: I'm located pretty close to the port of Savannah, GA, which is one of the largest container shipping ports in the USA. This makes shipping cars overseas a fairly easy matter to accomplish.

Please note: I have done my very best to describe this vehicle honestly, thoroughly, & to the very best of my abilities.

But since this is a used vehicle it is being sold as-is, with no warranty.
Please check my 100% feedback.
Every vehicle that I have ever sold (via eBay or via other venues) has been LOVED by the buyer. & I have often received feedback or messages that have stated "better than expected", or "thank you so much", or similar.
I pride myself on being honest & straight-forward. No BS. :-)
