Car description

Seller’s Description:

1967 Austin-Healey BJ8, I purchased this 3000 in 1970! 50 YEARS OWNERSHIP never ONE complaint. I had a total frame off (dissembled totally including inner rockers) a number of years ago, It has a perfect vat dyed connolly leather interior. EXTENSIVE photo restoration album, recent MAJOR service just a few months ago including all fluids, valve adjustment, distributor/timing, front end rebuilt, & with the NEW brake booster/master cylinder upgrade, this car stops NOW. HUGE difference in braking!

Notice the NEW $$$ stainless steel exhaust done recently! Check out the exhaust manifolds, see pic. See why I say no expense spared? Looks great, sounds great! The original windshield was slightly bubbling on the edge, so we bought an really ~expensive~ $650.00 original from Europe last year, which was professionally installed. Again, ALL receipts showing everything done in my restoration album. Check out the windshield CHROME! This IS a show car. Look at the small details to see what I mean.

Money was no object with this Big Healey, ever. Check out the Stainless Steel Exhaust! The only (tasteful IMHO) deviation I enjoy is the added chrome items in the engine bay. Easily changed back for concoursejudging. We can have it done prior to purchase at no cost to you. Other than that, shes stock. Beautiful bumpers, new grill, new tires and tubes 30 miles from new. With the recent high speed balance, it's a pleasure to drive. Cruises at 70 mph LIKE A DREAM in OVERDRIVE at low RPM! Does the car have rust??? NEGATIVE!

If you don't like the price, let's talk! Haggarty has it listed in the $79,500.00 range. That's my giude.

Going into retirement now, it hurts to see 'er go... but time marches on.
