1960 Austin Healey Sprite Roadster. ROLLING ON RARE MINILITE WIRE RIMS AND LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME. Extensively restored Jet Black 1960 Austin Healy Bugeye Sprite. The previous owners of this Sprite began with a super solid. original and one family owned car. This Austin Healy was disassembled and then professionally restored by a shop that specializes in British automobiles using NOS parts. The black paint has a beautiful shine. New chrome grill bezel. headlight trim. lamps and lenses. The windshield frame is original and in great shape. New rear chrome bumperettes. license plate light and tail lamps with chrome trim. The convertible top is new and does include the original side curtains. A snap on cockpit cover is included as well. The engine compartment is highly detailed and houses the original 948cc motor that has been fully rebuilt and finely tuned. Fuel runs through the correct SU carbs. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes have been upgraded to front disc for safety and convenience. The suspension has also been upgraded with poly bushings front and rear. The interior has been restored with all new leather seat surfaces as well as the dash. The carpets are custom made because aftermarket kits were not high quality enough for this build which really shows the quality and workmanship that went into this restoration. The undercarriage is in incredible condidtion. Rare knockoff minilite alloy wheels are wrapped with new tires and really gives this Sprite the perfect finishing touch!
