Car description |

Beautiful Austin Healey Sprite. Wire wheels, lovely interior, new top, Weber carburetor upgrade. Runs terrific, easy cold start on the choke, all gauges and electrics function properly, cool period correct Lucas spot lamps. The photos are a good representation of the condition. please ask questions if you need clarity prior to bidding. I will respond to every inquiry. Clean, clear California title in my name with no back fees due. Located about 50 miles east of Los Angeles.
More information based on several questions:I haven't performed any internal engine work in the several years that I've owned the Sprite. I rebuilt the Weber carburetor (it's got a Pierce manifold) and did a tune-up last spring. There are some old receipts from the previous owner indicating the head was rebuilt along with notes about the main bearing size and rings etc. which leads me to think the bottom end was freshened at some point too. According to the engine tag, it's a 1098cc motor. I added photos of the tags to the auction. There's also receipts for new master cylinders and other brake work and some basic maintenance stuff.
