Car description |

FUN! Thats the best way to describe it.
Runs good, all systems function well. This car is nut-bolt restoration, not just a paint job. Its looks great underneath as well. Body was stripped to bare metal, some small rust areas replaced with steel and then refinished in bright red. I have paint codes for future touch up.
Most of the restoration was done by the previous owner, I did some additional work at my shop Dave's Hot Rod Garage where we do repairs and restoration work on many types of classic cars, we do a lot of British cars.
Photos were taken at the historic Naval Air Station here in Grosse Ile, Michigan
This car runs good, has been driven and enjoyed, its not perfect but extremly nice. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
Some items to consider...Ribcase trans is from a 1275 and fully rebuiltRecent brake rebuildNew upholsteryNew cloth covered wire harnessRadial tiresMini-lite style wheelsNew gas tank and sending unitCarbs restored, Aluminum and Brass bits are polishedNew carpetNew grillePolished alloy rocker cover
If you bought a decent car then sent out for restoration you would spend in excess of 55,000 dollars. This is a bargain price for a restored car. I got a good deal and am passing it on. Note- The windshield is original.
6-26-19 *I have removed the aluminum trim that surrounds the seat area and sent it out for a polish, will be back in a few days
Includes accessories- these items are in original conditionHard TopSoft topTop frameToneau coverJack ToolsTool bagWheels - 5 of themCenter hub caps - 4 of themSide curtains
You are welcome to view the car in person, I can put on a lift so you can see the underside too. I also welcome an inspector of your choice to view the car as well. Please call to schedule a time. 734-692-7151 You may request additional photos, please send your email address and specific areas you want to see.
I do pre-purchase inspections for customers all over the country, it is my recommendation that you never buy a car sight - unseen. Do your do due diligence, you will be happier in the long run !
>>>Cash sale, no checks of any kind. Wire transfer from your bank to mine is also acceptable. Car will not leave my garage until funds are clear. 300.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and is not refundable. Full payment must be made within 7 days. The sale will be cancelled if the funds are not sent as directed. This vintage car is sold AS IS, no warranty intended or implied.
I'm selling 4 cars from my collection, view the others when you have a few minutes to spare!
