What we have here the Sprite Mark III that was produced from 1964 through early 1967. In 67 the engine changed to a 1275 CC and it was also the last year for the desirable chrome bumpers. The engine in this Healey has been completely rebuilt with the heads removed so they could be ported and polished. It was bored out to 1293 (.30 over), new rods and bearings, a newer cam and a single 2-barrel carb were added. Also,... at that time a new ring gear was added to the fly-wheel. This Healey comes out of California and was restored in 1994. It was a bare metal re-spray with no sign of rust or rot to begin with. A new top, tonneau and 3-point harnesses were also fitted. This car still shows very nicely and has had good ownership along with proper storage. This is a really fun car that starts, runs, shift and stops as it should. This is also a very inexspensive way to get yourself in to the hobby.
