Here is a 1961 Austin Healey Sprite MKII Roadster Barn Find. Donald Healey loved these cars. I brought this car home and had no idea what to expect. It maybe looks a little better in the pictures than in real life. The car has had allot of modifications. I imeadiatly noticed the front disc brake conversion along with an added tube shock, rear shocks have been replaced with tube shocks and have new leaf springs. The brakes will need to be gone through. The engine looks to be an early 1275 with a ribcase trans. There is a weber carb with manifold and a header. The interior I just mocked together with a red carpet set I ha, the seats are not too hateful. The dashboard is in good condition. The engine is free and turns over but has very little compression, that is as far as I got with it. The lights and wipers etc all work. The top is usable with one small tear and the rear windows are clouded over. The side curtians are in the trunk with a spar, jack and lug wrench. The floors of the car are rusted like every other one out there the rest of the body is solid. I put 4 wheels with good tires on the car This car could be made into a vintage race car or returned to stock and anything in between. I have a running 61 948cc with the original SU carbs and a good smoothcase trans in my 61 Midget that I will be pulling soon, it could go with the car for an extra $500. I could possibly deliver. If there are any questions ot to talk about a buy it now call Gene At 770-258-3351
