1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8. This is a very late production car. It was in the last 2000 MKIII's that were made. It has the oval serial number plate, the non cloisonné MKIII front badge and the octagon knock-offs. This nice BJ8 has had an older restoration. It still presents itself well and is very straight. This Austin Healey 3000 has a beautiful blue leather interior. It has a nice matching carpet set and also has a new beautiful burled wood dashboard. The mileage is 69088. The engine has a start up oil pressure of 60 psi and holds 50 psi when going down the road. The gearbox and overdrive are in very good condition, with no noise in 1st gear. Overdrive engages as it should. It has very good 165 x 15 Vredestein Sprint tires on replace Dunlop 60 spoke painted wire wheels. It does not vibrate or have the typical scuttle shake. It comes with a nice matching blue tonneau cover and the original bar and bar bag. The chrome is in good condition, but would benefit from having a couple new bumpers. There is a slight ding in the top of the grill surround. The underneath is very solid. Somewhere along the way someone has undercoated the car. I see no signs of this hiding anything. The engine compartment is decent and the original wiring harness is better than most. It has had a servo replacement and the brakes are very good. The body lines are good and the doors close correctly. There is an exhaust leak at the downpipes/manifold. The exhaust system is not correct and should be replaced. Also included with this BJ8 is a folder with receipts that date back to 1967. I am selling this Austin Healey "as is" with no implied warranty. Please call 410 404 3259 with any questions.
