Car description |
---|
61' Bug eye, last year of the bugeyee bonnet. This is a great driver/original condition car.
Starting with the outside of the car, the paint is in moderate condition with some imperfections. The color is dodge viper red, was painted about 15 years ago. All of the chrome and aluminum bright work is original and all in great shape and shines up very well. All of the lights are original glass and work. I also have the front bumper not pictured, is in great shape. i have a brand new tonneau cover and a brand new soft top never instailed and a set of side curtains, with brand new plexiglass and weather stripping never installed
The interior paneling under the carpet looks all original, no patches or repairs its all solid with some surface rust. The gauges are original and are in working condition. The interior vinyl is fairly new about 15 years old, the seat cover, carpet, dash cover, door cards and rear rubber floor mats. Comes with a spare tire (wire wheel) and an original jack. I Really don't want to sell the car but my next project is under a tarp in the driveway. So There are a few parts on the car i need to take off of the car before i sell it, i would like to keep the steering wheel, and will buy another one for you and install it. your choice of wheel. The brooklands windscreen mounts (windscreen) not pictured. Just for sentimental value.
Under the bonnet and under the car. The car has a recent wire wheel conversion done with the correct parts to do the job right (not the cheap bolt on kit) at that time the front disc brake conversion was done again all top quality parts were used; brembo rotors stainless brake lines new calipers brand new master and slave cylinders and a rebuilt petal box and for the rear brakes all new cylinders, shoes drums and hardware. all of the brakes and hydrolic clutch work was done about 3 years ago and less than 500 miles. i was told by the previous owner that the motor and trans have been rebuilt. the motor is a 1275cc conversion from a later sprite and the trans is also upgraded from a later sprite with the ribbed case, everything with the running gear works great. the motor runs great the 1275 cc is definitely worth it, to keep up and pass traffic.
