57 Austin Healey 100-6. Driver quality. The good - engine/tranny have been rebuilt, all hydraulics/lines replaced. Radiator/gas tank redone. New aftermarket gauges, new tires, battery, wheels media blasted and painted. (if reaches reserve a set of 78 spoke chrome wheels/tires included) Runs cool, no overheating issues. Dynamat under new carpet. Overdrive works. Came from New Mexico so no rust. (one outrigger was replaced but due to impact from exhaust) clean title in my name.
The bad - although master/wheel cylinders/lines replaced brakes could use further attention. I have no problem driving it but brakes are the first thing others mention when driving. (It may be they're just not used to '57 drum brakes) no heater. No trafficator installed. (one included with car) Signalling is handled by switches on dash wired to the clamped on lights. These lights can also be used as supplements to existing lighting. All the factory lights work, just not the factory signals. One headlight trim ring is damaged (see pic) Two small tears in top where the clamps hook to windshield frame. Windshield frame is pitted (see pic) all other chrome good. Tach works but all other original gauges not hooked up. Important functions are monitored by aftermarket gauges. Exhaust is straight through lambo resonators. (see pic - original muffler can be included with sale)
To sum up - this looks like an unfinished '70s restoration that I made roadworthy again just to drive it. Plenty of small items to putter with for hobby, or good bones for serious restoration. (no holes were drilled for mounting of aftermarket items) Selling to trim the collection. More pix/info on request. Thanks for looking.
