!969 Austin Healey Sprite MKIII produced by British Leland and the last production year of the Healey Sprite.(NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH MG MIDGET). Has roll up windows, 1275 cc 4 cyl. engine, close ration 4 speed manual tranny, and a front spoiler. The manual top is in good shape with minor imperfections, rear window is clear, carpet is good, driver seat upholstery could use attention, slight surface rust on rear fenders. We have owned this car for about 25 years using it as a specialty driver on occasion then keeping it in inside storage.Runs good, good brakes, clutch, tranny, exhaust, all lights work. Has Tonneau cover, original radio, glove shelf (box),radio console, 3 AH hub caps. It has been well maintained.
These were the last of the Austin Healey Sprites. Low production, sister to the Big Brute Healey 3000s, and a very desirable and affordable vintage sports car. They were great road racers, fun to drive, and a great collectable.Licensed, insured, NY inspected annually, and drives on occasion on a moments notice.
