1954 Austin Healey BN1
For your consideration is a 1954 Austin Healey BN1 Chassis which belonged to my father, a long time collector and Austin Healey enthusiast, acquired 30+ years ago. I believe it to be a 1954 and looks to have been originally blue. An original California car, it is solid throughout and would make a good basis for restoration with only minor areas of corrosion. The frame rails, outriggers and jack points are solid indicative of a vehicle stored indoors for many years. At some point during it's brief stint on the road, the Healey may have had a collision on the F/R wing - there has been some work done on the fender well as pictured. The front end geometry looks to be straight. Please use pictures to determine condition. I am not an expert in these vehicles and I offer no warranties expressed or implied. I would like to see this vehicle back on the road one day and I am only selling it because I don't have the time to build this one.
Condition: Please see photos. The shrouds are in decent shape considering. There are signs of rust but the floors are solid as are the frame rails. The trunk floor is also solid. The geometry appears straight but I can not guarantee it's accuracy. I encourage inspection and I will be happy to answer any and all questions. NO CHASSIS NUMBER. The original body BATCH/ BODY No. is present on the firewall and the VIN can be obtained through the British Motor Heritage Trust. Hence, there is NO TITLE. Overseas buyers please contact me with any questions. It's being sold as a parts car.
THE LAST PIC IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY of a restored example of this vehicle.
Delivery to a shipping agent of the winner's choice is available at cost. Transport to the shipping is available for $200 through a local tow company.
Excellent references.
Please contact me directly with any questions, for more info, or pictures before bidding.
