Good solid driver example of the popular Big Healey, 000 MKIII. Local Maryland car from private collection that was with previous owner since 1985 and always stored in climate controlled facility. 47,913 miles appear to be original as car had 45,928 on it in 1985 and title shows them to be actual. Older restoration that still looks pretty good with some newer things done recently. Body is straight, ust free with good fit and older paint that is lacquer as there is some checking from age here and there. All glass and chrome are very good but could use some new rubber trim in a few places. Interior shows well with some things original and some redone. Dash varnish is cracking in a few places, specially on glove box door with top cover in very good shape, eats and door panels are nice as well as the soft top but carpets could use to be redone properly. All gauges, ights and signals work well except gas gauge which needs new sending unit. Shows half tank when actually empty. Engine has very good compression and oil pressure but needed full tune when we got it and carb rebuild. We also flushed all fluids and did brakes service. Car now runs and drives excellent with great power, ery strong gearbox, lutch and synchros. Trunk is very solid and with spare, ack and lead hammer there. Underneath the car is also very rust free with pictures available upon request. All 5 wires wheels are nice and has newer Michelin tires. Overall a great driver for next owner that has lots of original character.
