Good restoration candidate for the last year of the 3000 MKIII Healey. Just purchased out of large private collection where it was kept in storage since 1989. Previous owner had started restoration but had many cars so several were left undone before his passing. Does have original engine which turns over and has very good compression but we have not got it started yet as we bought 9 cars from collection and this one is least expensive of all. Body is quite straight and has been stripped to bare metal with some rust repair begun. Is mostly complete minus a few trim pieces, ne door panel and few other small items. Engine and gearbox are complete as well as drive train and brakes. Interior has had some pieces redone but needs finishing of course. All glass is there and in quite good shape with both side windows rolling up and down well. Soft top is there but bad, oth bumpers need to be cleaned up at least or re chromed and all five wires are there. Both engine and trunk compartments are very original with trunk showing some rust but not too bad. Underneath is solid with pictures available upon request. Overall a good project car that is well worth restoring to its former glory.
