Very rare and rust free example of a 1986 Audi 4000 CS Quattro Sedan in factory alpine white with black leather. Drove the car from Denver in January to Portland without any problems other than the struts were shot and it was bouncy!Since then I took apart front and rear suspension and put all new struts. strut bearings. bumps stops/dust boots. both front axles have new inner and outer CV boots. control arm bushings(2)all 4 corners. New ebrake cables. I also did rear wheel bearings as they were sloppy(pain in the butt). everything else looked good and looked new. all motor and transmission and rear diff mounts were rock solid. brakes looked good. Car has been well taken care of. Colorado car. so the heat got to the paint a little and the interior a lot. Has never been wrecked. Hella Fog lights that work well. Headlights could use the H1/H4 upgrade or HID. I didnt do anything with them. Stud-less Hakipelitta tires around. Mud flaps all four wheels!! As usual I had to do the valve cover gasket. Previous owner just did brand new injectors last year. Car shifts perfect and everything is tight. no slop in the gearshift. I just turned 204. 00 miles last week. Then took out interior to be redone. wont have that back till early next week so the car is sitting. I will take pics tomorrow and Saturday without interior. Has original 4000 Black floor mats. Id like to keep this car. but I lose my storage space at the end of April and I wont let this sit outside all year at my house as I have no garage and it rains all the time here. I also did a little change to the rear panel light section. Im sure others will try this now. but I wanted to look more Euro. So you can either cut the original one if you have access to the right tools to do so. or I was able to find brand new Canadien spec Audi 100 lights and was able to adapt to fit perfect and seal perfect like they were made for the car. It turned out amazing. I also replaced an outer light with a good used one and re-sealed the other one as well so all 4 are airtight. The sunroof tilts up fine. but sliding back no so well. will need to be looked at to be perfect. power windows all work slowly. i try not to roll them all down much. :)Wheels are in pretty good shape. all headlight glass is good. I am having a new windshield installed this weekend as well. I found one finally!I think that sums it up. I have pics of everything. i tried to take as many as I could along the way of doing so much to this car. I basically restored it! I plan on keeping the rack unless someone offers me a reasonable amount for it. I plan on buying another 4000 quattro thats a little more beat up to drive around. This car is very rare and deserves to be taken care of and not driven daily and destroyed. Car has original tools. jack. and spare. This car is in extremely good condition is a new paint job away from being like new. Pictures will be a work in progress and all new ones will be up this weekend. here is the links120. photobucket. com/user/hoopster21/library/1986 Audi 4000cs
