Hi everyone,
For sale is a 1988 Audi 80 sedan. Try to find another one in the US, let alone one that is in solid original condition. 2.0 4-cylinder, 5-speed manual transmission, approximately 147k on the clock.
It's in very good shape: no rust, original paint still has some luster, interior is not perfect but good for the year. As shown on the following list, it has had a long list of repairs/upgrades. It's currently riding on new Michelin X-Ice tires.
Suspension/steering...
New front wheel bearings (both sides)
Meyle HD control arms
Meyle Tie rods
Meyle Ball joints
Bilstein HD Struts/Shocks
B&G coated 1.5" drop Progressive coils
Street Density Strut mounts
Street Density swaybar endlinks
Alignment
Brakes...
Audi Front Brake Rotors with Duralast Pads
Rear Brake Rotors (generic)
Other...
Short shift kitHitachi Ignition coil
Main fuel flex lines
All new accessory V-belts
Bosch Alternator
AC system charged with AC Pro & dye for future leak detection
Coolant flush with proper VW/Audi Pink
Headlights - EuroSpec DEPO brand with DEPO smoked corners
New headliner (except for the sunroof)New Pioneer head unit (speakers are nothing special, but everything works)
The car has a few minor electrical gremlins, and a few other nuisances I'm happy to discuss with interested buyers. I'll also post photos of the interior, under hood, etc. It's great fun to drive, and always stimulates conversations with others into vintage Audi's.
