1974 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. very good condition. Original family owned. purchased by my Father in 1974 in St. Louis Missouri. I have all original bills and the original bill of sale. Color is light ginger diamond fire metallic. Gold vinyl top with opera windows. Gold leather interior in excellent condition. It has the powerful 460 CID or in today's specs. 7. 5 L engine. The original production total for the Mark IV was 57. 16. It has the C6 3-speed automatic transmission. All chrome is in excellent condition. Has the original floor mats. The original mileage is 58800. Never been in a wreck. The car runs great. solid and tight and is a real head turner!Valve job done July 2006. as well as a new radiator. Two new tires and transmission seals. in Feb. 2007. New carburator in Nov. 2012. It is still riding on two original Michelin tires!Vinyl top has some stains. There are small areas of rust behind three of the wheel wells. The A/C compressor does not work. The horn stopped working a few months ago. It is a matter of installing a new horn rim kit in the steering wheel. that were the standard of many Ford. Mercury and Lincoln products of the 1970's. The Mark IV was noted by Motor Trend magazine in 1974 as having the longest hood in the industry!
