1970 Amc Javelin Herman Lewis 401, javelin amc 401 drag car race car

Up for sale is a 1970 AMC Javelin. This is a solid car and is race or show ready.This car is powered by a Herman Lewis AMC 401 (429 stroker). This 401 is the last 401 that Herman Lewis Built before he died. This car was built in the same town that Herman Lewis lived in. I have gone through the engine this winter and freshened it up with new rings bearings line hone bore hone and I also sent the heads (cast iron 319's) to Indy Head Service for there Race Recon and Valve job. This motor makesbig horsepower and for an all iron AMC with no nitrous. All internal engine parts are top of the line with no expense spared. The car is in great condition as well. Car and Motor have over $50000 invested. Recently repainted with iconic red white and blue scheme. Car has roll cage sub frame connectors nodular 9" ford with moser axles and 3:90 gear control freak 4 link with coil oversBendix 4 pistoncalipers and race rotors on front. I use only ams oil fluids in this car. The engine has 5 passes on rebuild and did great. I didn't punish it to bad and made a 6.92 pass. This car is a lot of fun and an attentionmagnet.
