1977 AMC Gremlin (X replica). MINT CONDITION. 258 automatic floor shift & Florida car. When I bought this Gremlin years ago it was a RUST FREE car. It had the original burgundy in color paint with luggage rack and the original rubber strip down the sides. After a few years I had the gremlin stripped and repainted red. Prior to paint I had the engine removed and completely rebuilt. it didn't need it but I did it anyway while it was out. I removed the luggage rack and rubber strips as well as the A/C unit which took up a lot of room under the hood (my preference). I still have all the original parts that go with the sale. The undercarriage and floorboards are also RUST FREE!! After complete LAZER STRAIGHT paint I replaced the original faded carpet along with new rear window struts new crager ss wheels. 14" front. 15"rear. new tires. Gremlin X steering wheel (still have the original steering wheel and hubcaps) & had the bumpers re-chromed (cost $1200). The car runs great and drives down the road straight. I have only put a total of about 5. 00 miles since I purchased it 12 years ago. It now has 60. 04 miles. It is an original radio delete car but I added an under dash AM/FM/CD/DVD player just for fun. If you have any questions please call me at 814-671-2409 est. Note: the front seats were replaced by the original owner. due to having the need for a wider seat lol. and are out of an AMC and match the rear perfectly. On Apr-23-15 at 18:59:05 PDT. seller added the following information:A few things I forgot to list that bidders asked about so here it is: while the car was being painted I did have the transmission rebuilt and painted. installed all new shocks. new alternator. original radiator was re-cored. new brakes. all new hoses and clamps. plugs. wires. distributor cap and rotor etc. I went through all the receipts I collected and was surprised by all the money I spent (a lot more than I remembered). Anyway just thought i'd add this. I also have a rear. hard to find. spoiler that goes with the sale. I had it powder coated black to match the color of the stripes. I thought it would look cool. If I remember other things done I will add to description.
