GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this stunning 1966 AMC Rambler Convertible! This clean classic comes in a brilliant yellow paint job complemented by a spotless black interior and a white convertible top. The power convertible top is in excellent condition and functions as it should. Powering the Rambler is believed to be the original 232ci inline 6 cylinder motor mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission. A full restoration is believed to have been completed roughly 10 years ago and still shows well. This vehicle comes to us from a private automotive collection and as such has always been properly stored and maintained. So, if you're in the market for stylish top down cruiser, this Rambler is for you.
The Rambler American is a compact car that was manufactured by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) between 1958 and 1969. For its third generation, the American emerged with what would be its only completely new design. The entire line was treated to neat and trim lines with pleasing simplicity with characteristic tunneled headlights with a simple horizontal grille between them. The Rambler American's wheelbase grew by six-inches or 152 mm (to 106 in or 2692 mm) and the interiors were made more spacious.
