1984 AMC Eagle Wagon Sport. Black with red trim and really nice red vinyl and cloth interior. Factory blacked out bumpers and grill. Luggage rack and factory mud flaps accented in red. Has the sout after cool gauge package by shifter. 4.2 inline 6 cyl with nice upgraded 2 bbl Carb. Everything works as it should. Car runs and drives great! It has 97,000 miles on it and has obviously been well maintained over the years. Floors and rockers are solid. Little bit of rusting on tip of hatch gate and corner and on couple of the doors, (see pics) I bought this Eagle 6 years ago out of Florida. Flew down and drove it back to MN with no issues. Finally had found the perfect Eagle Wagon or so I thought. After driving it around a little when I got back to MN, I noticed a rattle being felt through the steering wheel. I got scammed, as the previous owner very deceptively had welded a steel plate patch over the rust on the frame on front drivers side. See Pics. This is the only bad spot. I know there are places that can repair this but do not have the time to deal with it so I have decided to part with it and am selling. I had it stored inside since I got home from Florida with it and maybe put an additional 200 miles on it here in summer. Fix and drive or use as parts. Otherwise a very nice example of an Eagle wagon with less than 100k on it. Like I said, it runs great, shifts great and is a pleasure to drive. But it will need to be repaired to be safe. My loss is your gain here.
