Overall -
Car runs and drives great and is a lot of fun. Never overheats and will run at 75MPH on the highway all day @ 2,200 RPM in 5th gear. It is tuned to run best on 89 Octane. I purchased this car 3 years ago and most of the work was done, but the car was not sorted. Since then I've had it gone through and tuned, aligned, tightened, did the tranny swap/install, new rear leafs and some tweaking of the carb to improve tip in throttle response. I am selling because I have another 1971 AMX that is father daughter project that we just put a 401 and GM 4 Speed Auto in AND.....Just ordered a 2020 Corvette!!!! (Aaaahhhhhh the "Dark Side"!) Car comes with piles of receipts going back two owners and an extra set of front brake pads... I have a realistic reserve set on it that is less than 1/2 of what I have in it. Good luck bidding!
