1964 AMC Rambler Wagon Custom "Bootlegger"
Up for sale is this 1 of a kind 1964 AMC Rambler wagon, custom built and restored from the ground up by a mechanic of over 20+ years. The Wagon features a beautifully sounding Chevy 327 V8 engine, paired with a 350 3-Speed transmission. Many new parts which will be listed below. The body of the car is very straight, no dings or dents, and the engine bay and undercarriage have been coated with a black textured protective paint. This rambler runs great, and very strong! The engine was taken from a 1968 Corvette, and was completely gone through and upgraded with some tasteful modifications. The transmission was completely rebuilt as well, including a few upgrades. The wagon is sitting on a Chevy S10 chassis, which has been shortened by 3 inches for better fitment (still titled as an AMC Rambler). When this car was purchased, the rear tailgate and glass were both missing. The tailgate was custom built and fitted, REAR GLASS IS NOT THERE. The odometer shows 83,3xx Miles (actual on title) but since the car was built it has been driven about 1500-2000 miles. Always stored indoors.
