Car description |

Want to get a jump on Spring? Here we have a 1961 Rambler convertible. New tires, new carb., new fuel pump, new roof (less then a year old). This car has some interesting options for the time. Automatic, power steering, and power brakes. and yes it's a CONVERTIBLE.
This car came out of a estate sale a few years back and we added the new top. It shows 54,440 miles. The floors and trunk are solid and all lights work. It fires easily even after sitting in the garage for the winter months. Interior is basic and in fair condition, seats still recline. As stated the top is fairly new with new zip in window. The tonneau is old, but complete without missing snaps and no unraveling or tears. The doors close right and the trunk and hood work properly, the windows roll up and down fine. The top is hydraulic and works fine without leaks (rebuilt a few years back). Body is nice with a few small dings that are hard to find in the bright red paint. This is a radio delete car. Glove box works and is complete. About the only thing missing is the hood ornament, my wife has put a large crystal in there for now. Car is registered and insured (Hagerity) and we take it into Colorado on the weekends to explore. People go nuts over this ride and it draws a lot of attention.
This is a solid classic, everybody loves.â€
